Dr. Bekhit is a highly accomplished and compassionate psychiatrist dedicated to providing exceptional mental healthcare. With over 20 years of experience in the field of psychiatry and a genuine commitment to the well-being of her patients, Dr. Bekhit is recognized for her profound understanding of the human mind and her ability to transform lives through her therapeutic interventions. She is board certified by Amercian Board of Child and Adolescents psychiatry and American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

in addition to longstanding practice with neurotypical youth treating all psychiatric illnesses, Dr Bekhit has in-depth knowledge and experience serving youth and adult with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Intellectual and developmental delays(I/DD) who present with mental health and /or behavioral difficulties. With her experience, she understand when and what medication/medication combination are appropriate and likely to be effective.

After years of clinical and leadership work as director of child and adolescents services, hospital medical director and Chief Medical officer, Dr Bekhit started HMC where she provides direct clinical services to Children adolescents and young adults with a focus on treating resistant depression, suicidal thoughts and self injurious behavior, ADHD, IDD, ASD, PTSD and more. Dr Bekhit also puts significant emphsis in treating first responders, health care providers and their families. She also treats Minors undergoing oncolgy treatment and their families.
