Licensed Mental Health Counselor, MSW, LCSW
Accepting clients Last Updated 22 days ago

I have been in practice for 45 years, helping individuals, couples and families. My approach is rooted in family systems, attachment theory and is trauma-informed. For 35 years I have studied, practiced and taught T'ai Chi and Qigong and integrate these ancient tools into modern psychotherapy. I also offer experiential ways to help 'rewire' your nervous system for more balance and peace using Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping, eye movements, and sounds) as well as Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (no riding involved. Horse is part of therapy team!). For 35 years I have worked in all aspects of domestic and international adoption, helping adoptees, adoptive parents and birth parents process these complex and life-changing experiences.
I bring decades of experience, competence, and compassion to my work, and partner with clients to help them move from pain to peace and from confusion to clarity. My practice includes clients of diverse races, faith traditions, cultural backgrounds, genders, and sexual orientation.
