Psychologist, PsyD

We often define ourselves by what we do; the jobs we hold, responsibilities we carry, and people we serve. Perhaps, you hold yourself to an impossible standard of achievement and success. In the hurry and busyness of our lives, we create patterns of neglecting our needs and disconnecting from the present moment. Have you allowed yourself to be present with yourself? With others? I believe we become stuck when we do not allow ourselves to experience the full breadth of emotions. My hope is to foster an intentional space for us to develop insight and awareness into our thoughts and emotional experiences.

I specialize in working with adolescents, college students, and adults struggling with eating disorders, body image issues, and anxiety. Together, we will make behavioral change by addressing patterns of emotion avoidance. I use a cognitive-behavioral and acceptance and commitment therapy lens to untangle our thoughts and make values-based decisions.

It would be an honor to work alongside you in regaining contact with your values.

Please reach out if you believe we might be a good fit!
