Hannah's areas of specialization include substance abuse/addiction and recovery, the impact of addiction on families, dual diagnosis issues in adolescents and adults, OCD, anxiety, trauma, depression, anxiety, psychotic disorders and the LGBTQ+ population. She has particular interests in working with adolescents and teens and with the LGBTQ+ population. Hannah has experience working in the mental health field for several years. Her experience has included corrections, addiction and recovery, outpatient settings and residential treatment for children and adolescents with complex mental illnesses.
Some approaches she uses as evidence-based therapies are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to help promote personal growth and self-esteem building in her clients. Hannah believes in working with clients using a client centered approach, believing that clients are the experts of their own lives.
