Halley's clients can overcome a multitude of issues, such as depression, anxiety, gender identity, and challenges related to intimacy, religion, and family relationships. She can help clients utilize the skills they already possess and help them acquire new ones, like coping skills and acceptance, through active listening, empathy, and bibliotherapy.
Halley uses a multitude of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Multi-Cultural Therapy. When working with children she uses play therapy.
Halley earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and American Indian Studies and a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Wyoming. She's worked with people from diverse backgrounds in residential, inpatient, outpatient, in-home, and community mental health settings.
