Balanced Mind

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
Last Updated 30+ days ago

I believe therapy means making you feel deeply known and accepted, and by creating a warm and secure bond opens the space for long-lasting, personal growth. I appreciate how some old habits you have picked up at an earlier point may no longer serve you now. The process of understanding yourself with compassion and learning new ways of being in the world isn't always easy, but I'll be with you every step of the way. Together we can find and solve the "stuck points" holding you back from living a full and meaningful life.
I work with individual adults focusing on mood and personality issues. As your therapist, my goal is to help you live up to the best version of yourself. My approach centers on harnessing your unique strengths in building the bridge between where you are and where you want to be.
I take an integrative approach that reflects my dual training in transference-based theory such as Schema and evidence-based theory such as CBT. Thus, my treatment balances the exploration of experiential life with actionable change.
