Geraldine Pena
Hi! My name is Geraldine Peña. I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I obtained a Master of Education in Counseling at The Pennsylvania State University in 2017. Since then I have been working with children, teens and their families to help them grow in their attachment and emotional regulation. I have experience and knowledge using the Eco-Systemic Family therapy model to guide individuals in developing stronger, positive interactional patterns with those around them.
I am passionate about helping guide teens and adults of minority backgrounds to live a more healed, truthful and peaceful life. Providing you a safe space, in your native language and with someone of similar cultural background, will allow you to feel heard and process any adversities, pain, and trauma you may have experienced. As your therapist, I will support you in living your truth and advocate for positive change in your life.
My work lies within helping others work through trauma, identity and cultural issues, mood struggles and family issues.
I offer in person sessions and virtual options. I take some insurances for NJ residents and all private pay for PA residents. Please reach out to inquire about next steps!
