I support folks who have stressful lives, want to improve their communication, maybe even endured individual traumas and want positive change. I believe that the client – therapist relationship "The Right Fit" is the single most important factor for successful treatment. It is my goal to provide a safe space that is non-judgmental, attuned to your needs, engaging and genuinely empathetic. This allows for a trusting and collaborative partnership to explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns. My ideal couple or individual is ready to try doing "Small Things Often" and wants personal growth.
For couples have completed Gottman Method Levels 1 & 2 which I use in my work. I am a cognitively based therapist using CBT and am EMDR-Trained. I provide presentations for schools, companies, at clinics and conferences around trauma, relationships, communication, emotions, strengths, and how to use them in our daily lives.
If you are interested in meeting with me, I encourage you to contact me with a message through my website as a first step. The personal traits that are most important to me in my work are empathy, warmth, humor, acceptance, and patience.
