Elevate Psychiatry & Wellness, PLLC
Many of the students I work best with are unsure about medication—or have tried it before and didn’t get the results they hoped for. You might feel hesitant about starting something new, worried about side effects, or unsure if medication is even the right step for you.
Some students come in after a frustrating experience, where a medication didn’t help, caused unwanted effects, or just didn’t feel like a good fit. Others have been trying to manage things on their own but are starting to feel stuck with anxiety, low mood, or ongoing stress.
My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and focused on helping you make informed decisions. Medication is always a choice, not an expectation. We take time to understand what’s been going on, what hasn’t worked in the past, and what your options are moving forward. If medication is part of the plan, we approach it carefully and adjust based on how you actually feel—not just a checklist.
Alongside medication management, I provide clear education and brief supportive therapy so you understand what’s happening and have practical ways to cope day-to-day. If you’re looking for a balanced, no-pressure approach where your concerns are taken seriously, we’ll likely be a good fit.
