Erin Holtzberg
College students today are facing more than academic stress - many grapple questions of identity, purpose, and how to find their place in a rapidly changing world. College can be a time of tremendous personal growth, but it can also be a time marked by feelings of overwhelm and confusion. Balancing the needs of the classroom with the competing stressors of family, friends, relationships and world events can leave students feeling isolated and like they are constantly coming up short.
Therapy can help support you through this tumultuous time and learn coping skills to feel back on track. It can be a place to explore big questions and find meaning as well as be a safe space to work through trauma and grief. As a psychotherapist with a background working in higher education settings, I enjoy working with students as they move through their college years, especially students who are in the arts. I have worked with students who have experienced sexual assault, relationship violence and grief, as well as young adults with facing a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, career confusion and relationship issues.
I invite you to take the first step towards a more fulfilling life. I look forward to working with you!
