Erika Turner

Hello, I'm Erika L. Turner, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia and Florida. With over 15 years of experience in the social work and mental health field, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate their healing journeys and achieve emotional well-being, self-discovery, and empowered living.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in English from Spelman College, a Master's degree in Non-Profit Administration from Georgia State University, and a Master's degree in Social Work from Howard University. In 2010, I earned my clinical social work license, and in 2022, I was designated as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Throughout my career, I have worked in various mental health settings, including foster care, adoptions, residential treatment, community mental health, medical, military, and private practice.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based interventions, particularly for addressing traumatic stress symptoms caused by abuse or neglect in both children and adults. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, stress, and multicultural/diversity issues. Additionally, I provide support for military personnel and veterans, understanding the unique challenges they face.
