I was drawn to becoming a therapist because of my own struggles and remain passionate about the work because of the growth I have the honor of co-creating and witnessing in others as a wounded healer. I work with clients navigating trauma, BPD, anxiety/phobias, OCD, and LGBTQ issues. My approach is compassionate and empowering, giving you the skills you need to create safety in your body, treat yourself with compassion, heal the roots of your pain, and move towards a vital, fulfilling life, taking committed action toward whatever is most important to you.
I am trained in ACT, ERP, trauma therapy, and yoga therapy. I also have a decade of experience in DBT. In the intake process, I will ask questions about your history, challenges, strengths, and goals. I will also complete a few assessments based on your presenting issues to get a baseline for your symptoms, so that we can regularly track your progress.
I understand the courage it takes to ask for help when life gets hard. My commitment is to provide a safe, accepting space for you to show up authentically & to help you actively apply what you gain from sessions into the rest of your life. I can't promise this will be easy, but it will be so worth it.
