Therapy is an opportunity to explore how to heal in order to live an empowered and fulfilling life. If you are feeling anxious and overwhelmed from your day-to-day or recovering from a traumatic event, therapy can be a supportive space to explore various avenues for healing and growth.

In our collaborative space we will identify what brings you a true sense of joy and belonging as well as practical skills for managing life stressors. My role in the therapeutic relationship is to act as a curious observer - to reflect back what I notice and to broaden our shared understanding of your experiences.

I offer a non-judgmental space for you to do the therapeutic work necessary for your own healing. It is one of my most firmly held beliefs that each person is deserving of compassion and hope and I strive to help my clients honor that in themselves. Therapy can be a daunting task, but it can also be a space to explore your full range of emotion. In our shared space you can expect to have moments of sadness, relief and laughter.

In practice, I utilize aspects of various evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness to support you in working towards your mental health goals. As a psychotherapist, I approach each therapeutic relationship with a trauma-informed and intersectional feminist lens.

Experience
I have experience supporting clients as they explore their relationship with substance use, mental health, trauma, and life-transitions. I have a specific interest in working with those who struggle with anxiety and are ready to make meaningful change in their life. In working with clients across the lifespan, it has affirmed my belief that we are all deserving of healing.
