Ellen Hart

I am a therapist in a private practice that sees teens and young adults or parents of teens and young adults via telehealth only. Having been a therapist in a University Counseling Center for both Undergraduates and on a Medical School Campus I am familiar with a diverse set of difficulties that young adults may face during the years while they are seeking their education. I am aware that teens and young adults may have a variety of difficulties, from testing anxiety and mild depression all the way up to more complex disorders like suicidal ideation that benefit from therapy.

I am the mother of four diverse kiddos who love being together - the oldest is a psychiatrist, the second taught abroad as a missionary as well as in the states, my third is proudly trans and works as an artist and my youngest is neurodivergent and is studying Computer Modeling and Data Analytics at Virginia Tech. I deeply enjoy diversity both in my home and in my practice.
