Elizabeth Sabga
Being a woman from a multicultural background, I understand the complexities of navigating multiple identities including race, culture, religion, gender, sexuality, class, and ability. With a unique blend of Caribbean and Middle Eastern heritage, my approach to counseling is enriched by the diverse tapestry of experiences that shape individuals. Together we will delve into how your unique intersectionality shapes your world. My goal is to provide a safe, genuine, and non-judgmental space for your personal growth and healing.
I received a B.S. in Psychology at Northeastern University and M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at NYU. I further honed my skills through rigorous training. I have experience working with individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and diagnoses experiencing issues around trauma, race, gender, sexuality, depression, anxiety, and more.
I tailor my approach to suit the unique needs of each client. By integrating techniques such as CBT, trauma-informed therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, I aim to empower clients in their journey toward self-discovery and resilience. Through exploring patterns, feelings, and history we will work together to design strategies to improve your overall wellbeing.
