Harvard trained. I derive great joy in being a comprehensive, seasoned therapist working with a wide variety of clients. In therapy, you will find what works for you: heal emotional wounds, eliminate symptoms, discuss root issues, unpack deep truths, develop meaning, or get support. You will discover "why" things are how they are, and how to change. You will obtain tools and methods for healing, implement changes, and decrease barriers to change. My goal is to help you navigate a deep understanding of your life in order to promote healing, and get more joy and meaning from it.
I'm different! I bring an analytical mind along with a healing presence. I specialize in finding frustrating stuck places, including areas of ambivalence, ruminations, and spiral thinking, and give people the tools/methods for change. With over 12.5 years of practice, I am confident you'll obtain the results you want.
I'm straightforward and real with people, with a warm, caring edge. I provide a supportive, nurturing, nonjudgmental presence using proven treatment modalities. I've also lived through hard times and recovered. I work with people switching therapists or are new to therapy. Let's start! I am open to new clients. Always happy to help!
