Elizabeth Emen
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in NY, and an LCPC in Maryland. I have a masters in clinical counseling from Johns Hopkins University and have been practicing psychotherapy for 10 years in my work with teens, adults and families. I currently provide services via telehealth (interactive video counseling).
I support my clients through times of difficult transitions, grief and loss, and on the journey of healing from traumatic experiences.
I support clients in answering the questions of 'Who Am I?', and 'Where Am I Going?'. I support my clients to better understand themselves and their relationships with others and to create more meaningful and fulfilling relationships. I support people to explore and understand their various identities, including gender/sexuality, racial/cultural identity, strengths, abilities and interests. I walk with you on your journey to help you get where you want to go.
In our work together, you can expect a relationship built on non-judgmental listening and empowerment for you as the expert in your own life. We will journey together as you may be seeking greater authenticity and satisfaction with your life, or finding your life’s purpose.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support your journey.
