Hello! I'm Elizabeth, and I've been dedicated to the behavioral health field for over 17 years. My journey has equipped me with extensive experience in acute mental health treatment and substance abuse. I specialize in grief and bereavement, trauma, anxiety, and stress management, and my main focus is helping clients identify their stressors and learn different methods of coping.
I believe that while people may share similar experiences, our reactions and perceptions are uniquely our own. This understanding shapes my approach to therapy, where I utilize various modalities including solution-focused, cognitive behavioral (CBT), person-centered, mindfulness, and reality therapy. My goal is to provide a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, and develop strategies that work best for you.
I work with both adolescents and adults, offering in-person sessions at my office in Washington, MO, as well as telehealth services for clients in Missouri and Vermont. Whether you're dealing with ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, life transitions, LGBTQIA+ support, suicidal ideation, or self-harming behaviors, I'm here to help you navigate these challenges.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I am committed to providing compassionate and effective care. I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your journey towards better mental health. You can schedule appointments via my website. Let's take this step together.
