Elizabeth Bretz LCSW, P.C.
Are you feeling stressed or lonely adjusting to the demands of college life? Difficulty completing assignments, procrastinating, feeling depressed or anxious? While college can be an exciting time for some, you are not alone if you find yourself more stressed and not feeling like yourself.
At first, coming to therapy might seem intimidating. But, when you find a therapist that is the right fit for you it can be a place to process your feelings, receive non-judgmental support, and begin to feel better.
I am licensed as both a clinical social worker and a creative arts therapist. In my practice, I treat teens, young adults, and also specialize in supporting clients during pregnancy and postpartum. When we work together, in addition to talking, we can incorporate mindfulness practices, art, writing, and sandtray to develop coping skills, build insight, and make healthy changes. Some of the problems I treat include: depression, anxiety (social, test, general, panic attacks), grief, loneliness, conflict with roommates and friends, body image issues, sleep disruptions, stress, perfectionism, procrastination, academic struggles, and trauma.
