Psychologist, PhD

I combine compassionate care with evidence-based therapies to enable you to set and meet goals, feel better, and live the life you want and deserve. My goal is to provide you with a caring, comfortable, and supportive environment to discuss your concerns and help you develop new skills to improve your quality of life. Some of my clients only require a few sessions while others may benefit from longer-term counseling. I offer video therapy to patients using a secure video chat platform. This allows you to see a therapist from the comfort and convenience of your own home. When I'm not seeing patients, I am a professor at Rutgers.
My specialties include: depression, anxiety, insomnia, bereavement, difficulties adjusting to new life circumstances (e.g., break ups, new jobs, graduation, medical diagnoses), stress related to caregiving, and behavioral management of medical issues.
I am results-oriented -- together we will track your progress to ensure that therapy is actually having a positive effect on your life. If you're thinking about therapy, reach out to me and we can chat to see if I'd be a good fit for you.
