Psychologist, Ph.D.

As a psychologist, I offer psychotherapy to individuals experiencing a range of issues impacting their well-being, relationships, and functioning. I believe therapy ultimately involves a collaborative relationship between the therapist and client, which can provide healing, insight, and desired change. I endeavor to help my clients understand and work through 1) the contributing factors to their problems, 2) patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating (consciously or unconsciously) that are maintaining distress, 3) potential barriers to change that may be present in their life, and 4) possible corrective steps to take to bring change and relief.

Life circumstances, mistreatment we experience, and our own regrettable behaviors can shape patterns in life that leave us feeling stuck, hopeless, and frustrated. However, there is hope! Therapy can give you the tools needed to orient your life around your values, needs, and loves, rather than your fears, resentments, and past experiences.

When we face what is hard, we learn to be brave. In addition, within ourselves is the capacity to be bigger than our unpleasant feelings and experiences. You are capable, and I look forward to supporting you in your journey of healing and growth.
