Dr. Carnice McFarland, PLLC

Psychologist, PsyD, HSP-P
Last Updated 30+ days ago

My practice is exclusively telemental-health (TMH). All sessions are conducted on a HIPAA secure videoconferencing platform through the client portal. I am a Licensed Psychologist and PSYPACT participant, meaning that in addition to NC, I can practice TMH in participating states. This allows for me to see many students who may be on breaks.

I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy and client-centered approaches to help my clients develop insight and personal growth. I enjoy working with students and have dedicated my career to work in University and College Counseling Centers. I have experience working with students who are experiencing depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and other issues that are interfering with their ability to live the satisfying and meaningful life they want. With a focus on empowerment and self-compassion, I find that my work best fits those who might benefit from developing these skills and applying them to different areas of their lives including toxic perfectionism, academics, family, relationships, and career.

Currently my practice is not participating in any insurance networks, however, I can provide a superbill by request so you may seek reimbursement through out of network benefits if applicable. My practice provides an income based sliding scale for a limited number of clients. If you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact me.
