Outpatient Psychiatry
The outpatient division of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences provides diagnosis and treatment for persons age 18 and over. Treatment modalities include pharmacotherapy, dynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy and group treatment. Specialty services include geropsychiatry, phobia and anxiety disorders program, clozaril clinic, mood disorders, schizophrenia, and memory disorders. Social services are also available. Patients have opportunities to participate in new clinical trials.
