Diabetes-Focused Psychotherapy takes a holistic approach combining traditional talk therapy with diabetes education and management help. It addresses both the physical and emotional aspects of living life with diabetes while still addressing other non-diabetes-related life problems.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Diabetes Educator and have personal experience live with Diabetes over the past 44 years of my life. My private practice helps clients of all ages and their families manage all aspects of diabetes and the many diverse cognitive, behavioral, and emotional issues that come with all types of Diabetes.

Along with the impact diabetes has on individuals and couples, diabetes is a family illness and can harm all family members. I work with parents and their children to manage the difficulties of growing up with diabetes.
