I am a licensed psychotherapist practicing in Manhattan. I offer both traditional in-person therapy and technology assisted counseling by phone or video chat.
I specialize in anxiety, work-life balance, dating and relationships, and life transitions. I’ve worked with hundreds of clients confronting the challenges of moving forward in life. Many of my clients are facing the stress and uncertainty of major life changes from starting college to entering the workforce, changing careers, getting married or starting a family. Others are trying to build up the strength to make those same changes. Either way, I’m here to help.
As a therapist, I rely on evidence-based approaches like Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Everyone is unique, so I will tailor my approach to you.
Therapy works best when we are goal-oriented and have a clear direction. We will focus on your concerns and on developing effective strategies for you from the very start.
One of the most important elements of therapy is the therapist-client fit. Not every therapeutic relationship works. You might already know that from your own therapy experiences. I find that I get the best results with students and professionals in their 20s and 30s.
