Psychologist, Ph.D.
Accepting clients Last Updated 30 days ago

Hi! My name is Denise, I use she/her pronouns, and have been a licensed psychologist for over 20 years. I specialize in working with eating disorders and have also worked with a range of presenting issues including anxiety, social anxiety, depression, interpersonal struggles, family of origin, abuse and trauma, grief/loss, spirituality, and LGBTQ+ identities. I love working with college students to help you all work on figuring out who you are as a person and how your unique identities and cultural context impact you and your relationships. I am highly collaborative and active in therapy, utilizing an interpersonal, feminist, and multicultural approach to help us combine your life experiences and identities with my professional knowledge to create a plan for therapy. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and often incorporate these techniques into my therapy and my own life! On a personal note, I live with my wife, three children, dogs, and cats and spend my free time cooking, baking and reading. I look forward to working with you!
