Deja Adams
Providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care through telehealth, I help individuals across the lifespan navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and women’s health concerns. My focus is on creating a personalized approach that addresses each patient as a whole person, supporting both immediate needs and long-term well-being. I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups, guiding them toward stability, resilience, and meaningful progress.
My approach combines medication management with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based strategies. I take a holistic perspective, considering biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors, and prioritize collaboration, empathy, and respect in every session. Through this integrative approach, I aim to empower patients to build coping skills and achieve lasting mental and emotional wellness.
In your first telehealth session, I conduct a thorough psychiatric evaluation to understand your mental health history, current concerns, and support system. Together, we create a personalized treatment plan, which may include therapy, medication, or referrals if needed. Follow-up sessions focus on tracking progress, making adjustments, and strengthening strategies for everyday life. You can expect a safe, judgment-free space where you are heard, validated, and supported every step of the way.
