Accepting clients Last Updated 11 days ago

Welcome! I have worked in college counseling centers as a therapist for the majority of my career. I love supporting and empowering students to find their voice and navigate their personal and academic challenges effectively. My specialty areas are anxiety, depression, identity issues, eating concerns, ADHD, and adjustment disorders. I also provide psychological testing to evaluate learning issues and ADHD.

Creating a space in which clients can feel safe and comfortable talking about their concerns is one of my highest priorities. My clients say that they feel understood and supported in our sessions. My therapeutic style is relational. I integrate my genuineness and compassion with a strengths-based, solution-focused approach that is personalized to meet your unique needs. My work includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices.

Collaborating with my clients is important because I believe that the client is the expert of their own experience. We will work together to develop goals based on your needs and values. My interventions are designed to help clients gain insight into their problems and develop useful tools to make healthy changes, and build resilience in their lives.
