Dawn Wyman, LICSW PLLC
I work best with individuals who prefer a therapist to be interactive and collaborative. I strive to support you emotionally and challenge you to experiment with new ways of thinking and behaving which increase happiness and life satisfaction. The nature of your presenting problem can vary from a recent relationship difficulty to life-long difficulties with anxiety, depression, mood swings or childhood trauma. All these problems can be helped with self understanding and acceptance along with specific behavioral interventions to ease your pain and suffering.
Relational, cognitive, and mindfulness therapies are used to help you change current psychological strategies that cause you personal distress. We collaborative to work at your pace to change strategies of disconnection to thoughts and behaviors which enhance healthy connection to self and others. Working with your strengths is equally important.
