Counselor, LCPC
Last Updated 30+ days ago

I work primarily with people from the teenage years through young adulthood, focusing on a range of mental health and relational struggle. More broadly, I focus on the development and deepening of personal identity and values. I believe that having a strong sense of who you are and what matters most in your life gives people a sense of direction through uncertainty, and provides strength in times of struggle.

I also believe that even in hardship there is a place to find joy in life without minimizing the struggle. Without joy, suffering can weigh a person down into hopelessness. I seek to empower people with a deeper understanding of how the mind and relationships work, and to flow with the currents of life without being swept away by them. Your life is your journey, and I am happy to walk beside you for a time in your hardship to help you find the path forward.

It is hard to know if a counselor is the right fit based just on a description. All of my initial meetings are free with no commitment to continue until we have met and you are sure my approach is the right one.
