Dave Dorvilier, LICSW
I believe therapy is based off a cooperative relationship between the therapist and client working together towards what you find important. Many events throughout the course of our lives shape and mold us; These life experiences and lessons can have a huge impact on our relationships with others and ourselves that leaves us feeling stuck or dissatisfied. I have over 8 years of experience working in clinics and community based service settings; I currently work primarily with adults with significant experience in relationship issues, career, self-esteem, trauma and abuse, stress, anxiety and depression.
Through focused listening, non-judgmental encouragement, and safe self-exploration tailored to your specific needs, I can help you to succeed in using your strengths to overcome the obstacles in the way of your specific needs and wants. Additionally, you'll learn valuable skills to better manage your stress levels and effectively communicate with loved ones.
Everyone can benefit from engaging in therapy. If you are ready to take this next step, then I am here to support, encourage, and empower you to be the best you can be! I look forward to working with you!
