Daryl Handlin, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience in mental health and addictions across the lifespan. He earned his MA from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration and has held leadership roles with the National Association of Social Workers. Daryl has trained first responders and law enforcement in crisis intervention and was nationally recognized for innovative practice by the Office of Justice Programs. Guided by his personal mantra, “Many a false step is made by standing still,” Daryl believes meaningful change is possible when people harness their personal strengths, interests, and talents to build momentum for lasting results. He takes an individualized, collaborative approach to helping others achieve the outcomes they seek.
Outside of his professional work, Daryl enjoys creative arts and festivals, outdoor activities, travel, and spending time with his spouse, two adult daughters, extended family, and his two cats.
