Darren Bernal
If you are considering therapy, somewhere inside of you there is hope. Perhaps this is a faint hope that life could be better, to figure out how to respond to a loss, or maybe just to get a break from suffering. Many things probably contributed to where you are today. To work on multipart problems, I use a multipart approach to reconnect you with the things that help you such as nature, nutrition, physical activity, and the embers of hope inside you. Together, we can find a way to adapt to the loss of who you were, the life you had, or the people you loved and counted on.
It's important to me that you have clarity about the work we do. My approach is grounded in acceptance, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral, and strengths-based approaches, but the key component is to find what works for you. This approach of accepting and adapting is well suited to people accustomed to finding solutions but right now are struggling.
