Danielle Frouws
Great to meet you!
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety, addictive patterns, grief/loss, and stress management. My focus is on practical, mindfulness-based approaches. I studied Communications and later received a master's degree in Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling. I have worked in various settings providing individualized counseling services to adults and young adults with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and interpersonal challenges.
My style of therapy is warm, nonjudgmental, and interactive. While I focus on mindfulness-based techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy, I also incorporate other forms of therapy tailored to meet the unique needs of each of my clients. Together, we will take a closer look at your behavioral and relational patterns, discovering how previous events and experiences impact your current functioning.
I offer a safe, collaborative space to explore your thoughts, behaviors and feelings. My clients leave the session feeling seen, heard, supported and empowered.
