You might be here because life feels overwhelming, your mind won’t slow down, or you’re struggling to find the energy or focus to get through the day. Many of my patients come to me when they’re experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, or acute stress and are unsure whether therapy, medication, or both will help. My role is to partner with you in understanding your symptoms and creating a treatment plan that supports your mental health and your life.
I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner offering telehealth psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy to adults. I take a whole-person approach, combining biological, psychological, and lifestyle factors to understand what’s going on and how to help you feel better. While medication can be life-changing, it’s just one part of the picture. I also help patients explore sleep hygiene, stress management, mindfulness, relationships, movement, and nutrition because mental health is deeply connected to how we live day to day.
For those seeking therapy alongside or instead of medication, I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies. CBT helps us identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, while DBT offers skills to regulate emotions and manage distress. I also often bring in meditation and mindfulness, especially for patients dealing with anxiety or difficulty focusing. As a certified yoga teacher, small moments of stillness or movement can be powerful additions to care.
In addition to my work in mental health, I’ve completed nurse coaching training, which supports patients working through health-related stress or those with personal health goals. This might include working on motivation, behavior change, or navigating life with a chronic condition.
You can expect a collaborative, supportive environment where you’ll be seen and heard. Whether you’re trying to feel more like yourself again, stay grounded in the middle of change, or get clarity on whether medication is right for you, I’ll walk with you every step of the way. We’ll talk through your options so that every decision is informed and aligned with your goals.
Outside of work, I prioritize my own wellness through movement, music, and connection. My self-care might look like a walk, yoga, meditation, or calling a friend and always ends with a warm cup of tea, a book or show, and my two cats by my side.
Let’s work together to find a path forward that feels right for you. You don’t have to figure it out alone.
