Therapy is a space to understand your emotions, not just manage them. Many of us go through life feeling disconnected from what we truly feel. You might be overwhelmed by anxiety weighed down by sadness, or stuck in patterns you don't fully understand. Therapy offers a chance to slow down and make sense of it all.
As a therapist, I believe healing begins when we start listening to our emotions rather than pushing them away. You don't need to have everything figured out to start therapy. You just need to be willing to show up.
