Daniela Childers
I am accepting new clients! Are you a young woman that struggles with relationships and standing up for yourself? Do you feel like your emotions have you in a chokehold? Maybe life has felt like an unending wave of stress and you long to come up for air. You long to feel comfortable in your skin, but it's so hard.
Therapy with me will be a place to slow down, take a moment, and share your story with someone who cares. I strive to understand the context of your struggles first, so that we can unravel the deeper meaning of what’s been going on. I can help you untangle what it is that YOU want and stand up to the outside pressures.
I will work with you to process the past, understand your patterns, tap into self-compassion, and figure out how to get back on track. As a former educator, I know that learning doesn't end with childhood. I enjoy using art-based techniques and sandtray therapy as well as talk therapy to help my clients move past pain points and gain a new perspective.
I take a feminist approach to therapy with careful consideration of how your upbringing and environment have shaped the issues you face today. Together we'll create the space to tend to your needs and learn about your true self. I want to see you reach your potential! Texting, emailing, or scheduling online are the best ways to reach me. Let's work together!
