Accepting New Telehealth Clients. Are you looking for ways to manage and overcome your stress, symptoms of depression or anxiety, or find support in a confidential space? Starting therapy takes courage and strength. It can be a scary space because you do not know your therapist yet. I work with clients to manage their mental health symptoms and not be defined by those symptoms. If you would like to build coping skills, gain insight into your strengths and find balance, I would like to work with you on this journey. With over a decade of practice experience, I have worked with adults to address things like depression, ADHD and trauma
I approach therapy from a strengths-based perspective utilizing different evidence based treatments based on the presenting issue (i.e. CBT, DBT and Mindfulness). Through empathy, a belief in hope and recovery, I work with my clients to make the changes they seek.
I believe that we all have the skills we need to make the positive changes we seek; we sometimes lose sight of those strengths when times are tough. I have a particular interest in working with communities of color and persons identifying as LGBTQ+.
