Are you feeling overwhelmed, unmotivated, or like you’re never quite measuring up? College and graduate school can be an exciting time—but also one filled with stress, self-doubt, and pressure to figure everything out. Whether you're navigating academic burnout, identity questions, relationship struggles, or just a sense that something's off, you're not alone—and you don't have to figure it all out by yourself. I'm Dan, a counselor with over five years of experience specializing in college mental health. I work as part of the Middlebury College Counseling team and deeply understand the unique challenges students face. My private practice work centers around helping undergraduate and graduate students make sense of the internal and external pressures of young adulthood. Many of the students I work with come to therapy when something shifts—new physical symptoms, recurring thoughts, or emotional patterns that feel unfamiliar or hard to manage. Together, we work to explore these experiences with curiosity and compassion. We’ll build on your strengths and values to help you feel more grounded, capable, and clear about where you’re headed. If you’re feeling stuck, stressed, or uncertain, therapy can be a powerful space to regain momentum and reconnect with yourself
