Sojourn Psychotherapeutics, LLC
Hi, my name is Dan. I use he/him pronouns. I am a licensed psychologist in general practice at Sojourn Psychotherapeutics, LLC in the East End of Pittsburgh. I work with individuals, couples, and families. In addition to general practice, I also specialize in LGBTQIA+ mental health and climate-aware psychotherapy.
Here are some examples of therapeutic goals my clients commonly bring to therapy: identifying and managing mental health symptoms, finding greater motivation and focus in daily life, understanding attachment style, identity exploration, deprogramming internalized stigma, managing family relationships, and healing from trauma.
I love my job and consider it a privilege to serve my community. If you feel like any part of this page speaks to you, I welcome you to get in touch and request a free consultation. Once I have received a message, I typically respond within 2 business days.
Warmly,
Dan
[NOTE: I recently transitioned to solo practice and have applied to join the following networks: UPMC, Optum (UBH/United), Highmark-Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, & Carelon (Beacon). The approval process may take several months yet. Until then, I see clients on a self-pay basis. If you would like to learn more about that, please get in touch.
I am also currently establishing a new office space and hope to schedule in-person appointments starting the week of 7/01. - DBM 06/10/24]
