I have worked with students since the start of my therapy training back in 2007. Since that time I have worked at four university counseling centers over the course of nearly a dozen years. I have always loved seeing students from myriad backgrounds, different family and cultural experiences, and clinical needs.
A primary reason I have become a full-time private practitioner, is because I grew tired of only being able to support students on a short-term basis. Too many times I wished I could work with a student who I had to refer out for longer-term therapy. In private practice, I have the opportunity to work with students for as long as they require and help see them through a complex and difficult time in their lives.
