After planning to be an English professor, I got into therapy when I realized I didn’t want to write papers about books for the rest of my life—I wanted to talk to people about what matters most to them. Some methods I find helpful for achieving that are: CBT, EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy.
I enjoy bike rides, kayaking, tinker crates with my kids and other adventures with my family. I like doing other people's home improvement projects so I can delay my own. I was a foster parent for several years, and I have lived in Kentucky, Ohio, and California. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you be all you are capable of becoming.
