Dale Ann Karl, LCMHC
Hi, I’m Dale Karl, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor based in North Carolina with 20 years of experience supporting adults through life’s challenges. I work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and concerns around food and body image, including binge eating and bulimia. I proudly affirm and support clients of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and cultural backgrounds.
My approach is down-to-earth, warm, and collaborative. I see therapy as a conversation—a safe, judgment-free space where you won’t be labeled or told who you are. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface and focus on ways to make your life feel more manageable.
I believe therapy is about more than addressing symptoms—it’s an opportunity to better understand yourself, build skills, and create meaningful change. While we may explore past experiences when relevant, much of our work will focus on the challenges you’re facing in your life today.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or not quite like yourself, I’m here to help. We’ll talk through what’s getting in the way and use practical tools to help you feel more confident, in control, and connected to who you are and what matters most to you.
