Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Accepting clients Last Updated 4 days ago

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina with 20 years of experience. I’ve worked with individuals facing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and bulimia/binge eating. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities.

My therapeutic style is warm, interactive, and grounded in respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels and view each person as doing their best to navigate life’s challenges. My approach blends various therapeutic perspectives, tailoring the process to meet each client’s unique needs.

I see therapy as a journey of personal growth—one that goes beyond symptom relief or behavior change. Through exploration, discovery, and reconnection with the true Self, individuals can foster meaningful growth and transformation. While I value the role of personal history in understanding present difficulties, I focus on addressing issues as they arise in the here and now.

My therapy style is conversational and collaborative. We’ll talk about what’s bothering you and what you’d like to change. Together, we’ll explore where these challenges come from so you can better understand their roots. From there, we’ll work with practical tools to help you make shifts, empowering you to feel better about yourself and your life.
