I enjoy assisting people in developing insight and practical strategies to improve the quality of their relationship with themselves and with those that they spend the majority of their time with. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families and can adapt my methods to meet many needs. I provide other professionals supervision and training to enhance client care. I am equipped to address trauma, loss, anxiety, and depression. I have raised a family of my own, lived in rural communities, inner-city communities, and internationally, enabling me to develop a broad understanding of our universal human condition. I can assist if you are interested in reflecting on your past to assure an understanding of your strengths and weaknesses so you can develop a more satisfying life. After becoming aware of what you would like to do differently, I approach our work in a collaborative manner as partners in a process, using wisdom, patience, creativity, insight, and humor. It takes courage to seek assistance to expose your vulnerabilities. I honor your commitment to consider making changes to enhance the quality of your life. I have a deep respect for people and view all as equal who have a range of experiences that they bring into our relationship. Together we can access your strengths to assist in your healing and create the life that you envision. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mind-body techniques, insight-oriented therapy, family systems, and integrative healing modalities. I am certified to teach Yoga, have practiced as a massage therapist, and have had a meditation practice throughout my adult life.
