"I can't wait to meet you"

My name is Dr. J’Haria Dallas, and I am so glad that you are here! Reaching out for support is a brave and meaningful first step, and just by being here, you’re already beginning something important. Whether you’re going through a big life change, feeling overwhelmed or anxious, navigating relationship stress, or simply craving a space to pause and breathe, therapy can be a powerful place to feel seen, supported, and heard.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), which means we’ll look at both the unhelpful thought patterns that may be getting in the way and the strengths you already carry with you. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on beneath the surface, identify what’s working, and take practical, meaningful steps toward the life you want—at a pace that feels right for you. ❤️

I’m a licensed professional counselor with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Georgia. Over the years, my experiences in this field have deeply influenced how I support and connect with clients. I’ve seen just how powerful it can be to have someone in your corner — especially during life’s more challenging or uncertain moments.

I work with adults, teens (ages 16 and 17), and parents who are ready to feel more confident, connected, and in control. My hope is that our time together feels like a safe, grounding space, one where you can show up fully as yourself, without pressure or judgment.

More than anything, I believe in your capacity to heal, grow, and move forward. You don’t have to figure it all out alone, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you on this part of your journey.
