Hello, I'm Crystal, and I'm here to support you on your journey to mental wellness. I am a proud alumnus of Fisk University and Howard University, where I earned my Master's in Social Work. My career began with a focus on treatment foster youth, providing individual and family therapy at a non-profit organization. Through dedication and hard work, I advanced to the role of Project Director, engaging in recruitment and training. My journey then led me to conduct risk assessments for the Baltimore County Department of Social Services in their Adult Protective Services Unit. Eventually, I transitioned into the medical field, working in discharge planning at MedStar Union Memorial and later at the University of Maryland in their pain clinic.

As a Baltimore native, I have dedicated much of my time to building up my community through volunteer efforts and mental health education. I call myself the 'reality' therapist because I believe in keeping things authentic to help clients overcome barriers. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, utilizing mindfulness, CBT, Gestalt, and reality therapy. Our relationship will be based on authenticity, open communication, and a partnership to build on the skills you already possess.

Specializing in areas such as spirituality, stress, trauma, ADHD, anger management, anxiety, children's mental/behavioral health, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, life transitions, medical issues/physical health, and intimate/romantic relationships, I am equipped to help you navigate various challenges.

Always remember, you are resilient! While you can't control what happens to you, you can control how you respond to it. If you're ready to take the next step towards overcoming your barriers and building a better future, I am here to help. Let's work together to find the path that best suits you.
