As a therapist, I use my background in art and psychology to help you explore your thoughts and emotions on a deeper level. Through my direct, honest and compassionate approach, I go on a journey with the client to uncover the root of their current struggles and to develop adaptive coping skills.
I treat adolescents and adults suffering from a mental illness. My background is treating primarily eating disorders, trauma, dissociation, self injury, anxiety and depression.
I am a registered art therapist, licensed professional counselor, and a certified eating disorder specialist and supervisor. My treatment approach is a combination of attachment-based theories, trauma focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, along with the use of expressive therapies.
