Hello,

My name is Courtney Powell I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and currently practice with Persoma Counseling and Associates in the Pittsburgh Area. I have a wide range of interests and specializations such as behavior modification, crisis intervention, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, mental health concerns during pregnancy, and neurodevelopmental disorders. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Humanism, Behaviorism, and Person-Centered. I believe in taking a client-centered holistic approach and personalizing each individual’s therapeutic experience to best fit their needs. Therapy is about creating a safe place for individuals to discover, flourish, and function as their most authentic self.
