Hello, I'm Courtney. I understand that it can be difficult to ask for help, as we may feel embarrassed or uncomfortable being vulnerable. Asking for help requires strength and courage and may be a journey through both darkness and light. It's important to trust the process, sit with our uncomfortable feelings, and accept our emotions for what they are. Vulnerability, shame, and fear may make it difficult to share, but know this is normal as we navigate change. There is a lot to be learned from our dark times, and, as a therapist, I hope to be alongside you in your journey of growth. Let's connect and unpack what you're struggling with together.
I specialize in treating OCD, PTSD, Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs), and Tics, using evidence-based treatments including Exposure and Response Prevention, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Habit Reversal Training and the ComB model, and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). While I specialize in these areas, I also provide therapy for relationship concerns, ADHD, depression, stress management, and burnout. My approach is integrative, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
With a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and certifications as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our sessions. However, it's not my job to change your mind, provide advice, or tell you what you should do. My role is to be with you in your experience and act as a reflective mirror to help develop your sense of self.
Outside of my professional life, I value authenticity and connection, which I bring into my practice. I believe in the power of growth through understanding and compassion. If you're ready to take the next step, please reach out to me for a 15-minute consultation. Thank you!
