No matter what struggles one's past might hold, I believe all people have the power to improve their lives once they gain insight and skills through therapy. While I have worked successfully with clients experiencing a variety of concerns, I specialize in helping people who are interested in overcoming symptoms related to trauma and anxiety. In addition to my advanced training and individual work with this population, I have also developed and facilitated therapeutic groups for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and women who have experienced trauma of any kind.
I often start by helping clients develop a deeper understanding of their symptoms and the potential roots of their concerns while implementing strategies to target specific symptoms. It's important to me that my clients always feel in control and respected while we work together to achieve lasting change in a safe and open environment.
Taking the first steps towards healing can feel overwhelming, but I promise it will be worth it! I have helped many people overcome debilitating symptoms and achieve lives they might not have thought possible for themselves before beginning therapy.
